CENTRESTAGE Arrives in Style
Yesterday was a momentous occasion as the inaugural edition of CENTRESTAGE opened in style, showcasing the latest collections and creative inspiration behind some 200 international brands and designer labels. With leading talent from Asia and beyond converging in Hong Kong, it was a scintillating opening day as industry players thoroughly enjoyed a captivating event line-up with incredible runway shows, parades and thought-provoking seminars. We're just getting started! Welcome to the show.

"Founded in 2015, Jarel Zhang strives to offer unique fashion collections for modern women with a strong and independent personality. Our new boutique shop in Shanghai will come into operation later this month and we are expanding our designs to include men's wear. I am pleased to be showcasing our latest designs at CENTRESTAGE in Hong Kong. The show attracts quite a number of serious buyers from Asia in particular. We've received positive responses already on the first day of exhibition. So far, at least four buyers have expressed keen interest in purchasing our dresses for women. CENTRESTAGE is definitely a good place to find buyers and explore new opportunities."

"Founded in Melbourne in 2003, sudo kids is a fashion brand for children. We are taking advantage of CENTRESTAGE to penetrate further into the Asian market including Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Korea. The buyers’ response has been surprisingly strong on the first day of exhibition. We’ve met with many interesting people including buyers from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, USA and Italy. They have expressed serious interest in representing our brand and a Chinese buyer from Beijing is especially keen to enter into business with us. We will follow the leads to build business relationships. CENTRESTAGE is a great place to network and meet new customers."

"Zishi Ler puts strong emphasis on balance and serenity in modern living. We offer everyday fashion wear with Nordic chic and minimalist design for women looking for quality and refined details. We’ve received exceptional feedback from buyers at CENTRESTAGE. Customers are coming from different places such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. We’ve also met quite a number of Chinese buyers from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu. This marks a good start for our business expansion and we are positive about exploring new opportunities with all the new customers. This is really an international show drawing so many overseas customers from various countries and regions."

"Blibli.com is Indonesia's biggest e-commerce company selling a comprehensive range of products from food to electronic gadgets and cars. We have expanded into fashion items since 2014 and currently carry more than 300 local and international brands. To further grow our fashion business, we are looking for more designer brands from different countries. CENTRESTAGE serves as a good sourcing platform because we can select suitable collections from various designers directly. I have already found three Hong Kong designers here for women's apparels and bags. I anticipate to purchase 150-300 pieces for various styles from each designer upon successful negotiation. This show allows me to find more designer brands easily."

"In business for six years, Spring Gem specialises in the sale of high-end branded fashion at our boutique store in Taipei. We carry a good range of brands from different places including Europe, USA, Korea and Japan with much emphasis on stylish design and quality. We are visiting CENTRESTAGE to source more fashion brands that suit our customers. So far, we've found four interesting brands offering some appealing women's and men's wear. Among them are SIMONGAO from the Chinese mainland and beyond closet from Korea, plus two Hong Kong designer brands. We expect to strike some deals by mid-October or November. Initial orders will be around US$3,000 to US$8,000 or more from each designer brand. CENTRESTAGE is a good show to enrich our sourcing needs."

I am visiting CENTRESTAGE to find new brands and explore cooperation opportunities. The business matching meetings arranged by the organiser generated positive results. I've found a Hong Kong designer and a USA brand offering some suitable products to sell on our website. I've also identified four fashion brands from Thailand."
