Hear What Exhibitors Say

Edward Achour

"In business since 1999, Edward Achour Paris provides stylish and refined fashion for women in pursuit of elegance and sophistication. CENTRESTAGE offers a great opportunity for us to open up new markets and find new customers in Asia. This is our first-ever exhibition in Hong Kong to promote our latest women's jacket and outwear collections made of exquisite fabrics. The results have been encouraging. We've met a number of buyers from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Indonesia and other countries. So far, we have already got some orders from four Chinese mainland customers. We will definitely participate in the show again and expect to take up more space to showcase our collections."

ILOVECHOC

"ILOVECHOC is a popular street fashion brand targeting young customers with a network of more than 300 retail stores across the Chinese mainland. We are participating in CENTRESTAGE to expand our sales presence in the international market. The show has drummed up extensive interest and we've met many buyers from the Southeast Asia in particular. Four to five buyers from Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia have expressed serious interest in exploring cooperation with us. Hong Kong is a major trading hub in Asia. CENTRESTAGE can bring together a number of industry players to do business and plays an important role to facilitate our business expansion."

Gu Yu, Vice President,
ILOVECHOC, the Chinese mainland

Desey Muharlina Bungsu

"YI-MING offers a signature line of contemporary East-meets-West style qipao or evening dresses that combines oriental beauty with a western touch. We have established a good presence in Hong Kong and are expanding our business into the Chinese mainland, Singapore and Indonesia. We are pleased to showcase our latest collections and promote our brand at CENTRESTAGE. The feedback has been quite positive. We’ve already got in touch with four serious buyers from the Chinese mainland, Vietnam and Indonesia. It’s really a good move to hold such a new show for fashion designers and companies with original brands. The results are encouraging."

Desey Muharlina Bungsu

"Minor Corporation is a leading distributor of international lifestyle and fashion brands in Thailand with over 500 points of sale. Our brands include Bossini, Esprit and Gap. I am visiting CENTRESTAGE to find new brands to enrich our fashion products. I’ve found two apparel brands from Korea and Hong Kong, as well as a shoes brand from Italy. At the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair, I’ve also identified two fashionable watch brands from Korea and the Chinese mainland to explore business opportunities. It’s great to visit these two events at the same time. There is so much to see with many brands and products to choose from. The trip has been rewarding."

Jaruwan Tangsithchakul, Senior Brand Manager,
Minor Corporation, Thailand

Desey Muharlina Bungsu

"Lotte is Korea’s biggest department store operator running 40 stores across the country. I am visiting CENTRESTAGE to find new brands, especially sportswear and lifestyle wear brands. People in Korea love sports and outdoor activities so demand for related fashion items is very strong. So far, I’ve identified two brands from Hong Kong. One of the brands is sudo kids and its swimwear collection looks appealing. Another brand MIGO offers some interesting travelling backpacks that may suit our customers. CENTRESTAGE is an interesting show where I can see a variation of trendy designs from many countries. I will come again to find more new brands."

Men’s Sporting Goods Team/Kangnan Store,
Lotte Department Store, Korea

Desey Muharlina Bungsu

"Traffic operates two boutique shops in Moscow selling a variety of imported branded fashion. At present, we carry mainly brands from Europe and Japan. CENTRESTAGE provides a good opportunity for us to explore new brands. I’ve already found two Hong Kong brands and a Japanese brand for smart causal wear for women. This is a compact and interesting show with some creative collections. Some designers are very talented."
